 Hi Everyone,

We thought we’d let you know of our plans for Craftsman over the next few months.

1.      The next version will be Vista compatible with full ‘User Access Control’ (UAC) compatability.  However it requires a complete new install of Craftsman.  We will hold off releasing this version until after June 30th as this is a busy time for everyone.

2.      Over the next 2 months we will be building a new installer version that will self maintain with the web alleviating all the upgrade hassles.

3.      Longer term 6-12 months, we are creating a new SQL version of Craftsman which will;

a)      Solve all data integrity issues

b)      Enable you to more effectively archive old data

c)      Allow us to help you manage backups

d)      Allow migration to the Microsoft desktop and internet frameworks released with Vista

e)      Allow PDF and Email formats for invoices and claims

4.      We aim to add further accounting functionality including;

·         Electronic lodgement and retrieval of BAS with the Tax Office

·         Full loan account features (including Directors Loans)

·         Asset ledgers and depreciation schedules

·         P&L and Balance reports to satisfy lodgement with company returns

5.      Long term a Professional version of Craftsman will be released that allows you to design your own reports.

If you have further enhancements you’d like to see please don’t hesitate to call us.

Regards,

Geoff, Lin and Ash
